Ceramic Tile
Definition: Tiles glazed, fired once or more times to achieve a desired look & texture.
Maintenance: Low. Does not require sealing. Clean with mild, pH neutral cleaner.
Residential indoor use

Porcelain Tile
Definition: Tiles of finer particles than ceramic and fired at a higher temperature for a denser, harder tile. Can be glazed on surface, polished, textured or a variety of other finishes. Very durable.
Maintenance: Low. Most do not require sealing. Clean with mild detergent. Polished porcelain floor tiles may require buffing to maintain a streak-free finish.
Commercial and residential indoor use

Natural Stone
Definition: Stone tiles will vary from stone to stone. They include marble, granite, limestone, slate, quartzite, travertine, onyx and more. Available in a wide array of finishes and sizes. Each piece is unique.
Maintenance: Low. Sealing may be recommended.
Commercial and residential indoor and outdoor use

Glass Tile
Definition: Glass tiles have a rich depth and radiance. Glass does not expand and contract so proper installation is especially important.
Maintenance: Low. Does not require sealing. Clean with mild, pH neutral cleaner.
Residential or commercial indoor use. May scratch if used for flooring.

Metal and Resin
Definition: Available in a variety of colors including brushed nickel silver to oil rubbed bronze. An excellent accent tile.
Maintenance: Low. Does not require sealing. Clean with mild, pH neutral cleaner.
